Secure Your Sliding Door

Secure your sliding door with a nail or a jamming device.

Secure Your Sliding Door

Foil a would-be thief with a single nail, and prevent your sliding glass door from being pried out of its track.
  • Close and lock the door.
  • Drill an 11/64-in.-dia. hole all the way through the upper frame of the inner, sliding door and halfway into the outer, fixed door.
  • Insert a 3 1/2-in. (16d) common nail into the hole

For another approach insert a jamming device like one of our Patio Security Bars
